should I buy my boyfriend Gold Plated or Solid Gold?
I’m going to buy him a gold necklace for christmas, but I’m hoping its going to be affordable- hopefully no more than around 600$AU. But, i dont want to have to tell him things like “you cant wear it in the shower, you cant wear it when you go swimming” etc etc, i want it to be good quality to wear whenever. Is gold plated good enough or will it wear out very fast or go rusty?
Gold plated is better if your trying to be frugal but if you want something of good quality that will last I suggest solid gold, the gold plating will only last so long it will start to to rub off.
